At this time we can only offer free pick up for gently used (with little to no damage) couches, sectionals, and occasionally dining sets. To ensure your free pick up request is accepted quickly we ask that clear photos are taken of every item you need removed. 

Please note that while we can remove many pre-loved couches and sectionals, not all furniture items are accepted. Old styles, heavy damage, or stains are typically reasons items aren’t accepted for free pick up. In the instance the item can’t be removed for free we will quote you a removal fee or refer you to another business that can help with removal.

Our #1 goal is to keep furniture our of landfills and in circulation. The majority of the furniture we remove is inspected, repaired, cleaned and resold.

The rest is donated directly to local charities.

If an item isn’t accepted for free removal then we will quote a removal or refer you to one of our partners for disposal or donation. Regardless, we will make sure we help your remove your furniture quickly.

Please note: requesting a free pick up does not require you to use our service. If you are unsure if your furniture will qualify then simply submit a pick up request and we will let you know. After submission there is no obligation to use our service.

CouchCycled is a for-profit business, so most of our pick-ups are not tax-deductible. In the instance we can’t remove the item for free and refer the pick up to a non-profit that accepts your request, they can provide a donation receipt upon collection. 

Since many non-profits have a limited service range, are backed up on pick-ups, or no longer accept furniture we hope to help by providing a quick turnaround on removal to help keep furniture out of landfills.

While we have a quick turnaround time it’s still best to submit the form as soon as you can. We are able to schedule pick ups multiple weeks out to better align with your schedule and can always move or cancel if needed. Requesting a pick up is free so there is no cost to you in the instance you cancel your scheduled appointment.

The primary charity we work with is Dallas Furniture Bank. They are an awesome team and focused on providing furniture to families transitioning from homelessness; restoring normalcy and independence.
